About this course: In this self-directed course, you’ll learn about your organization’s obligations related to police reference checks according to the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC). The OHRC is intended to protect people from discrimination in several areas, including employment and the hiring process. This applies to recruiting, screening and working with volunteers. This course satisfies the requirements for the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Toronto Police Services. Newly updated in December 2023 with the latest Toronto Police Service processes.
